The challenge
Most marketplaces are built around cash, shipping, or complicated credit systems. This product needed to make direct local exchange feel understandable, safe enough to approach, and genuinely useful.
A local-first marketplace, now shaped as Good Trade Local, where neighbors exchange useful items, skills, and services without transaction fees.

Inside the project
Most marketplaces are built around cash, shipping, or complicated credit systems. This product needed to make direct local exchange feel understandable, safe enough to approach, and genuinely useful.
We built a local browsing, posting, matching, offer, and messaging model around real trades rather than payments, with clear boundaries and a neighborly visual language.
A substantial product prototype with the core marketplace loops, moderation foundation, and technical structure needed to test local exchange in the real world.
